Lindsey Martin started Erin.Lane with her mom 15 years ago, when things were really bad for her family.  Armed with a sewing machine, quilt fabric, and iron wills, they started sewing.

Jeanne Stevenson was an architect who loved to knit—until her curiosity for color pulled her straight into the dye pots. Destination Yarn started as a tiny Etsy shop in 2008, created simply to indulge a growing obsession, quickly grew into something far bigger. Soon, Jeanne left architecture behind entirely and stepped into dyeing full time. She’s been creating color in her Cleveland dye studio ever since.

Her yarn now appears in shops across the country, has been spotlighted in national publications, and has traveled to major events including the DFW Fiber Show and Vogue Knitting Live New York. She’s collaborated with designers and developed a range of signature, layered dye techniques that set Destination Yarn apart.

With a background in architecture and a deep love of travel, Jeanne brings an eye for design and a sense of place to every skein. Her colorways translate destinations into yarn—turning wanderlust into something you can hold in your hands.
